The vision behind combining childcare, therapeutic support, and educational services under one roof in Bollinger County.
Chelsea and Brandon Baker purchased the building in the spring of 2023 with a vision that was still developing. Over time, they took time to define the calling, purpose, and mission behind the project — ultimately creating a central location where families in Bollinger County and surrounding communities could access support, resources, and services focused on early intervention beginning at birth.
Chelsea and Brandon are deeply rooted in Bollinger County and the surrounding communities. Born and raised in this area, they have always believed in the importance of giving back and investing in the people around them. Through every season of life, they have used their experiences, lessons learned, and opportunities to serve as a way to strengthen their community and create meaningful support for future generations.
Chelsea and Brandon Baker purchase the building that would become The Hive.
Phase one comes to life with the opening of Beehive Academy, a childcare center designed to provide families with high-quality childcare and a nurturing environment.
Phase two begins as Behavior Analysis & Support (BAS) expands into an Approved Alternate Placement provider for students with an IEP who require services outside their local school district setting.
The next phase opens as BAS begins providing outpatient therapeutic services for children and families seeking additional developmental and behavioral support.
The Hive was created with the belief that children thrive when they are surrounded by intentional support, meaningful relationships, and environments designed to meet their individual needs.
Through Beehive Academy, Behavior Analysis & Support, and educational partnerships, we are committed to supporting children and families throughout their developmental journey.
Whatever your family needs, we’ll help you find the right place to start.
